デジタルノマドビザ「特定活動」スタート/ Digital-Nomad Visa Launched

2024年3月31日にいよいよデジタルノマドビザがスタートします。

2024年2月3日にパブリックコメントの募集が行われましたが、その内容とほぼ同じものとなりました。

若干異なる点としては、別表14と別表15を追加し、租税条約締約国・地域と査証免除国・地域を列記し、告示で別途除外しうる規定を設けたところです。現時点では49カ国・地域が対象となっております。

その他はパブリックコメントでの規定について文言を趣旨に合わせてより明確化したものと考えられます。

Revision of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act: [Government Official Gazette Link 2]

“Public comments” were solicited on February 3, 2024, and the revisions closely align with those proposals.

A notable change is the addition of Schedules 14 and 15, listing countries and regions with tax treaties and visa exemptions. Provisions for potential exclusions via notification have also been established. Currently, 49 countries and regions are eligible.

The revisions further clarify provisions based on public comments to ensure they align more precisely with the intended purpose.
